In 1984, Commodore Computers (Canada) released a Movie Poster Calendar, a collection of 12 posters from upcoming films. The calendar was sold throughout Commodore’s distribution network nation-wide, and proceeds went to support two charities that benefit children. In addition to looking through the calendar and the 12 movies included, we learn a bit about Commodore Canada’s president, Arthur E. Goodall, a VIC-ATHON fundraiser he ran, Robin’s 12 favourite movies of 1984, and some kind of relevant 8-bit reference in most all of those movies. Happy New Year!
