I recently had a terrible time trying to fix a Commodore 1702 monitor where I destroyed three horizontal output transistor. (HOT) These critical components in all CRTs drive the horizontal deflection which generates the high voltage in the set. Since CRTs aren’t really made anymore, these parts aren’t as easy to obtain as they used to be, so I found a source for cheap ones. Let’s see if these super cheap HOTs actually work.
